Discus lamp in brushed aluminium - Space Age
High-quality aluminium wall-ceiling lamp from the 1970s. The luminaire is made of brushed aluminium, with an E 27 metal frame and a metal bracket for wall/ceiling mounting. The lamp is in very good condition and the aluminum surface almost without scratches. The elegantly shaped aluminium umbrella only drops slightly inwards before rising slightly to the socket. A mirror head lamp creates a beautiful, indirect light with a beautiful corona around the lamp. These discus lights have become a classic in modern design history and are only very rare to get. An absolute eye-catcher and a must for a 70s retro décor.
The lamp does not have a manufacturer's label. Since I do not know this model, I can only speculate: unlike many other models, the luminaire has a rather high edge and a remarkably rounded edge. This is also available at Staff.B. In addition, as with Staff or Raak, there is no ring, as the lamp is not held on the wall with the frame ring. Just like this lamp, similar luminaires from the Dutch company Raak are held with side fittings on the steel bracket.
