Art Nouveau piano stool / swivel stool, approx. 100 years old
Comfortable Art Nouveau stool / piano stool from the beginning of the 20th century. The piano stool is made of solid wood, with a seat made of so-called Viennese braid. The braid is original and in some places threads are torn - see photo, but the seat is still stable. That's why I refrained from an exchange. The stool has a relatively narrow three-legged foot and can be adjusted in height from 49 cm to about 62 cm.
The spindle is oiled and runs well. The gluing was renewed on one leg and the stool was repainted with shellac.
