Helo desk lamp with adjustable shade, vintage table lamp XXL, Mid Century - vintage

Large Helo table lamp with a very large lampshade and copper-plated (bronzed?) brass areas - a timeless classic from the 1950s. Stylistically, the design of the lamp is based on the Bauhaus period. The lampshade is versatile and adjustable using a ball joint. The solid lamp is made entirely of metal and painted dark green, the inside of the lampshade is cream white. The paintwork has clearly suffered, the brass parts give the lamp a noble calm. The desk lamp gives a bright, pleasantly glare-free light thanks to the curved lampshade and is very solidly made. The round, curved base with the switch is designed to match the lampshade: profiled brass strips on the edge, the dark green paint on the inside and the slightly curved, also copper-plated brass button in the center, which can be used to release the base. The lampshade is rotated using a ball joint and does not need to be locked, it stays in any position. The ball joint has two screws with which you can loosen or tighten the joint. The lamp was available in several sizes, the largest version offered has a 41 cm lampshade - extremely rare.

The lamp is in good vintage condition - paint with signs of aging (matt and spotty), the brass parts partially tarnished - with a very beautiful, age-appropriate patina. Great collector's item!
