Unique piano lamp made of cast brass, France around 1900. The lamp is characterized by its filigree design decorated with leaf ornaments.
The lamp consists of a cast iron base plate on which the lamp is placed. The lamp arm can be adjusted at the bottom using a ball joint and at the top using a swivel joint. The design with the 360 degree rotation of the lamp arm is striking.
The socket is also made of brass - type B22 (bayonet socket). The light is switched on using an old cord switch made of Bakelite. The rest of the electrics have been replaced. Originally the cable ran in the light arm, but unfortunately the cable duct is no longer usable - probably due to old cable remnants. Therefore the cable now runs outside. A modern LED bulb with a matching bayonet socket is included.
A very solid and heavy lamp from the end of the 19th century / beginning of the 20th century, made in France.
