Very comfortable original Thonet piano stool / swivel stool. The piano stool is made of beech wood and has four steam-bent feet with a bentwood ring for stability. The stool is height adjustable from 49 cm to approx. 70 cm. The long spindle runs perfectly. The stool has the original Thonet stamp "Thonet" and a paper label under the seat. Based on my knowledge of these stools, I would date the year of manufacture between 1890 and 1920. The paint shows clear signs of wear. The paint shows clear signs of wear. The seat cover has been replaced, the upholstery is still original, only one upholstery strap has been replaced. The stool is in good condition overall.
