XL Diskus ceiling wall lamps made of brushed aluminium - Space Age rarity from the 1960s - vintage
Very large discus lamp from the 1960s, company Honsel, model no. 30541. The lamp is made of brushed aluminum. It can be mounted both on the ceiling and on the wall. The luminaire has an E 27 metal socket and a metal bracket for wall / ceiling mounting. The lamp is in good, functional condition with traces of use on the aluminum surface, see photos - scratches, four small dents and slight dents on the edges.
The elegantly shaped aluminium shade first drops slightly inwards before rising again towards the socket. A mirror head lamp creates a beautiful, indirect light with a beautiful corona around the luminaire. These discus lights have now become a classic of recent design history and are quite rare in this size. An absolute eye-catcher and a must for a 70s retro interior.
