Discus ceiling wall lamp in brushed aluminium - Space Age rarity from the 1960s - vintage - tulip, Panton era
Original Diskus lamp from the 1960s to 1970s of the company Teka in bright red. The lamp is made of lacquered aluminium and has been preserved originally. It can be mounted both on the ceiling and on the wall. The luminaire has an E 27 metal socket and a plastic bracket for wall / ceiling mounting. The lamp and especially the luminous paint are in good condition, but there is a place on the side where the paint is scratched - see photo.
The elegantly shaped aluminium shade first drops slightly inwards before rising again towards the socket. A mirror head lamp creates a beautiful, indirect light with a beautiful corona around the luminaire. These discus luminaires have now become a classic of modern design history and are rarely available. An absolute eye-catcher and a must for a 60s retro interior.
